God The Father
We believe there is only one true, eternal God who reveals Himself in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He is the Creator of Heaven and earth and the Redeemer of mankind.
Genesis 1:1, 26; Deuteronomy 6:4; Isaiah 43:10-11; Matthew 28:19; Luke 3:22; 1 John 5:7
Jesus Christ
We believe in the deity and humanity of Jesus Christ — His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles, sacrificial death to save us from our sins, and His resurrection, ascension, and exaltation to Heaven where He is seated at the right hand of God. We also believe the Lord Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God and His imminent second coming is near.
Matthew 1:21, 23; John 1:1-2, 14, 3:16; Acts 1:2-3; 9, 11, 2:22; 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18; Titus 2:13
The Holy Spirit
We believe in the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit, the third person of the Godhead, by whose indwelling believers are able to live holy lives. Sanctification is the process of being separated from sin and flesh and dedicated to God, which begins at salvation and continues throughout the lifetime of a believer.
With the Baptism of the Holy Spirit comes passion for life and serving in the works of the ministry. The Baptism of the Holy Spirit is meant to empower believers to be witnesses of Jesus Christ by fulfilling our responsibility as believers: reaching the world through the preaching and demonstration of the Gospel. The Gifts of the Holy Spirit, which are promised to all believers, are also evidence of this experience. Whereas there is one initial baptism, there are many subsequent infillings of the Spirit. The ultimate purpose of the Baptism of the Holy Spirit is so that we the believers may have power to be witnesses of Jesus Christ.
We emphatically believe in the evidence of speaking in tongues.
Matthew 3:11; John 14:16-17; Acts 1:4-5, 8, 2:1-47, 10:44-47; Galatians 5:22-23; 1 Thessalonians 4:3-5; 5:23;
2 Peter 3:18; Luke 24:29; 1 Corinthians 12:1-31
The Bible
We believe the Bible is inspired by the Holy Spirit, a revelation from God to mankind — the infallible, authoritative rule of faith and conduct.
Romans 15:4, 1 Thessalonians 2:13, 2 Timothy 3:16-17, 2 Peter 1:20-21
Salvation Through Christ
We believe in the sinfulness of all mankind and the need of salvation which is available only through the saving Blood of Jesus Christ to all who believe and receive Him as Savior. Only Jesus can save. There is no other name given under Heaven to which mankind can be saved than Jesus Christ of Nazareth. He has overcome sin and all powers and principalities of darkness. He was the sacrificial Lamb of God for the iniquities of mankind. Jesus paid the penalty for our sins. He took our place on the cross and salvation is in Him alone.
Romans 3:23, 6:23, 10:13; Ephesians 2:8-9; Titus 3: 4-7; Acts 4:12
Unity Amongst Believers
We believe in the Spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ. The body of Christ cannot function properly if not united in Jesus.
Romans 15:5; Ephesians 4:3, 11-13; Philippians 2:1-5; 1 Corinthians 12:14-27; John 17:22-29;
Colossians 3:12-15; Hebrews 10:23-25
Healing
We believe the finished work of Christ on the cross provides healing for the human body. Christ has given us power to heal through the Holy Spirit. Those that believe will be healed in Jesus’ name.
Isaiah 53:4-5; Matthew 8:16-17; 1 Peter 2:24; James 5:14-15
A LIFE OF WORSHIP
Jesus did not redeem us to make us workers; he redeemed us to make us worshipers.
